Request deletion
Fill in this form using the email address registered to your AKMG account. To protect your account, we will email that address to confirm the request before anything is deleted.
You can also email support@medecon.online from your registered address with the subject "Delete my account".
What we delete
- Your account and sign-in credentials, and all active sessions
- Your profile: name, phone, date of birth, gender, specialty, college, address and photo
- Your membership details, preferences and notification settings
- Your event registrations, guests and QR entry passes (these stop working immediately)
- Your contact-form messages
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment and invoice records (amount, date, transaction reference and payer name) for as long as accounting and tax law requires. They are not used for any other purpose.
- Anonymised attendance counts, with nothing that identifies you, for event reporting and CME accreditation.
- Security logs for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted automatically.
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel or refund paid registrations for upcoming events. If you want a refund, ask the secretariat before requesting deletion. See our cancellation terms.
Timeline
We confirm your request by email within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days of confirmation. Data in encrypted backups is overwritten as those backups expire, within a further 30 days.
